Week of March 27 in Grade 7

Welcome back to school!!! I hope you had a lovely Spring Break…filled with rest and fun. I look forward to our Spring together…the rest of the year always feels like it goes so quickly.

Our plan for the rest of the year:

Bible – We will continue our study in Acts, along with focusing on the truth of the Bible. We will do a study on the different accounts of Jesus’s death and resurrection prior to Easter.

Social Studies – Our last ancient civilization unit will focus on Ancient Greece. We will start with some general learning before students will do an individual / pair project on a specific topic that they will teach the class, along with creating an Ancient Greece museum exhibit. We will finish with Greek Olympics!

French – Units to be decided… 🙂 We will be starting an approach called “comprehensible input” – where the focus will be about success…not perfection or accuracy – I want students to be able to start speaking and writing in French, even if it isn’t perfect!

Friday:

* Prayer for God’s Nations: Sofia

BMV (due Thursday, April 6):

Colossians 1:13-14 ~ For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
