Wow – halfway through November! Where does the time go?
A few items to note:
*** As a class, we have decided to continue the “small change, big change” campaign that was originally for the local Family Resource Center (our class raised nearly $100! The whole school raised over $2000!). Grade 7 students challenged themselves to find $3-$5 to donate (allowance, couch cushions, laundry jar…). Our next “change” challenge is to raise money for 2 places:
1. Students would like to fill an envelope to help raise money for the Missions Team who are heading to Mexico to serve Jesus by building a home for a family, along with engaging in some ministry.
2. We have adopted an orphaned child in Burundi, Africa (through an organization that Rick Luth, a former KCS teacher, is helping with). Each class at KCS has an orphan to pray for, connect with and support as we can. At the moment, we have heard that they do not have enough money to have food for December and we’d like to help with this.
*** Please start the Games Night Raffle donations coming in and I can store items in our class

Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
